Wonderous woody trees are thickly
in a thicket, cricket croaks crack
as toad throated tunnels draw them in
and hawkish hands wrap around,
catch and swallow source of sound
all this happens rather quickly
but those among the concrete jungle
twist into horrendous forms
tree trunks turn stickly
and praise begot those sickly
few that suffered through
natural inclinations
to attain my young lens's aspirations;
now they serve as motivation
